You have the power to lead the life you want to live.
Stanley Chan
Every individual has the ability to do the things they want to do in their lives, but it can be very difficult to see it as time goes by due to life’s hardships.
The hardships faced in life by each of us should not define who we are but we often get blinded by the difficulties that we face along the way that it makes us not be able to see it clearly or at all. It is not even our choice to be blinded too as sometimes the traumatic experiences we face is just too much and it just feels better at those times to just let it be.
But it is exactly these moments where we have to take the opportunity to learn from our mistakes and become better than before. This is because I believe that you still have the capacity and power to bring into fruition the kind of life you want to live, regardless of what life brings.
Personality
- Friendly, Encouraging, Understanding.
- Validates the experiences and hardships faced by each individual.

My Style & Professional Counselling Approach
Person Centered Therapy (PCT) & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
It is important to know that there are always ways to handle life’s hardships, but finding the ways ourselves is not always easy and at times it is difficult to see any at all.
What I strive to do in my counselling sessions is to be able to guide you to find the ways to go through them as well as enable you to be able to continue finding those ways by yourself as you go further into your life’s journey.
More often than not, the problems that we are facing can be identified through the automatic negative thoughts that we have whenever we face an issue. Through those negative thoughts is how we dive deeper into finding what really makes you stuck, angry or sad as we can identify the patterns for those thoughts and find the root cause for them called the core beliefs, which are the values we hold very deeply within ourselves. By recognizing and understanding this core belief, we can understand why we have those thoughts and positively change our perspective of our existing thoughts to enable us to have a better outlook in life, which will reduce the issue we face.
Identifying and learning about them as well as finding the tools to handle them to be able to continue on in life is what my apporach aims to achieve and I hope that through your sessions with me, you will be able to find that light at the end of the tunnel.
