You Deserve to be Loved and Live a Meaningful Life
Dr Aevent Koh Kian Seng
“Love is the ultimate and the highest goal to which man can aspire.” (Victor Frankl). Almost everyone seeks to do what they love, be with someone they love and be loved in return, as well as love who they are. No matter how hard it is to find love, it is never impossible, but are you moving towards the “right” direction?
Even in the darkest moment, we can still find meaning, by recognizing that no one can take away the freedom of will from us. Hence, through our will to find meaning within ourselves, it leads to the creation of the meaning of our lives.
Personality
- Friendly, Humorous, Introspective & Encouraging
- Values relationships, emotions & the unique story of our lives
- Believes that a meaningful life is a journey to experience, not an achievement.
My Style & Professional Counselling Approach
Existential & Humanistic Psychotherapy
To me, there is no right or wrong in a counselling session as I am not the judge but the person who upholds high ethical standards. My counselling sessions are not about me, but the four beings I always practice.
- being there for the client’s needs,
- being with the client emotionally,
- being alongside the client while exploring their concerns, and
- being otherwise, challenging the client to boost one’s confidence.
Existential-humanistic psychotherapy mainly focus on helping client to discover their own uniqueness through acquiring a greater awareness of themselves and the world around them.
