‘In every question lies your freedom to choose.’
Janell Lim
We are often taught to search for answers, the safe, acceptable, correct answer. But rarely are we encouraged to pause long enough to sit with the question itself. Yet the shift only starts happening when we question things.
A question disrupts a cycle, it creates space between who we have been told to be and who we might become. It gently loosens inherited expectations, unexamined fears, and silent assumptions.
We are always choosing, even when we feel stuck, even when we avoid deciding, even when we follow what is expected. Choice is constant, and with it comes both responsibility and freedom.
You do not need to have all the answers, you only need the willingness to ask the questions and to choose consciously from there. Perhaps together, we can sit with those questions, slowly, thoughtfully, until your choices begin to feel like your own.

My Style & Professional Counselling Approach
Existential Therapy
The past can feel heavy, the future can feel uncertain, thus, we begin here, in the present moment.
Rather than focusing on solely on “fixing” problems, we explore what it means to live consciously and authentically in the face of uncertainty. I believe that much of our distress does not come only from circumstances, but from how we relate to them, the meanings that we give it, the expectations we inherit, the roles that we feel pressured to fulfil.
In our time together, we will learn to discover the questions that is restricting our freedom, essentially, slowing things down to help us process it together.
I see myself not as someone who directs your path, but as a steady presence alongside you. A presence which can assist you to think freely, feel honestly, and explore without being rushed towards a “correct” conclusion. We make space for the discomfort without immediately trying to eliminate it.
We move at your pace and we honour the complexity that comes with it. And along the way, we gently reclaim your authorship, so your life feels less like something happening to you and more like something you are consciously living.
There is no rush here, only presence, reflection, and the quiet courage to choose deliberately.
