Trainee Counsellor
‘Sometimes the journey is not about becoming someone new, but gently returning to who we truly are.’
Elaine Wong
Each person carries a rich inner world shaped by experiences, relationships, and the meanings we give to them. Some parts of this inner world are clear, while others remain quiet, waiting to be explored.
I believe that growth often begins when we are given the space to slow down and listen to ourselves more deeply. Counselling offers that space — a place where emotions, thoughts, and personal stories can unfold safely and at their own pace.
Through this process, people often reconnect with their inner strengths and discover new ways of understanding themselves, their relationships, and the paths they wish to take in life.

My Style & Professional Counselling Approach
Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy (STST) & Expressive Art
My counselling approach is mainly influenced by Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy (STST).
I see human struggles not simply as problems to be fixed, but as meaningful signals that reflect deeper emotional experiences, family patterns, and ways we have learned to cope with life.
In counselling, I work collaboratively with clients to explore their inner experiences with curiosity and compassion. Rather than rushing to solutions, I focus on helping clients become more aware of their emotions, beliefs, and relational patterns.
I also integrate expressive and reflective approaches, such as metaphorical cards, drawing, or creative exploration. These methods can sometimes help clients express feelings and insights that are difficult to put into words.
Through this process, counselling becomes a space where clients can reconnect with their inner resources, gain new perspectives, and gradually move toward greater self-acceptance and personal growth.
